Thanks for the feedback William. I actually got access to a Dell
Dimension 9200 in the lab here and was able to test the Intrepid Beta
release. The machine booted just fine and Xorg came up as expected. So
this does not seem to be an issue any longer. I'll go ahead and close
this report. Thanks.
