My apologies for the poorly-informed person who marked this bug as a
duplicate of a quite different bug. I had to remove this duplicate
marking in order to mark *that* bug as a duplicate of yet another one
...
However, I'm very confident that we've fixed this in the years since
6.06, particularly since we completely replaced the graphical
installer's partitioner in 7.04, so I'll just mark this as fixed.

grub-install doesn't work if the partition type is wrong, but d-i doesn't
always set it
