Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-do
Perhaps related to bug 280540, Do does not expand arguments like gnome- panel's launcher does. For example typing "python ~/script.py" doesn't work in Do, while it does from a terminal or the g-p launcher. Is a generic replace on the command of "~/" with the users home directory dangerous, for run commands? If not it seems like it could be a good solution. ** Affects: do Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-do (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: Triaged ** Also affects: do Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-do (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: New => Triaged -- Does not expand ~/ in arguments https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283391 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
