It seems your dbus package is not correctly installed:
DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.PermissionsInvalid: The
permission of the setuid helper is not correct
what does "dpkg -s dbus" show in a Terminal window? It seems some
upgrade went wrong, and you have to fix it with "sudo apt-get -f
installl" or synaptics.
