Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
In latest intrepid (rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu-3), I can't
import a CD into the library from within Rhythmbox. Trying to do so
(extract to library) fails with:
Error transferring track
Could not create a GStreamer sink element to write to
/home/franck/Musique/Noir%20D%C3%A9sir/666.667%20Club/13%20-%20Song%20for%20JLP.oga
with an error notification for each track.
In the shell, I get these logs :
(rhythmbox:13457): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: filesystem root apparently
doesn't exist!
(rhythmbox:13457): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_element_make_from_uri:
assertion `gst_uri_is_valid (uri)' failed
(rhythmbox:13457): Rhythmbox-CRITICAL **: rb_encoder_gst_emit_completed:
assertion `encoder->priv->completion_emitted == FALSE' failed
I am certain /home/franck/Musique is an existing directory.
** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
