I have a GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-DS2H too. I would hate to have to wait another 7 months to get it working correctly.
I have the NoAccel flag set at the moment but with that set I get the impression I am loosing most of the great features of this pretty expensive motherboard. I have OpenArena (Quake III) installed and it is totally unplayable at maybe 2-4 frames per second. Doh ! This is a shame after the thousands of hours the OpenArena team have spent. OpenArena has got to be a good advert for open source, the support for this board is not however at this time. If was running Windoze it would be running. I will be sticking with Ubuntu and keeping my fingers crossed that I can make decent use of my new PC soon!
