I don't know if I can help you. I wrote that over a year ago. At the bottom of my screen it said there were updates available. I clicked on it and installed the upgrades. One of them was a sound program. The sound died on my computer. After checking everything I went online to the page you found. There were also many others complaining that day. Two comments stood out from that day, I don't know if they came from the page you are looking at. One, the upgraders denied there was anything wrong, and two, some body claimed it had already gone over the upgraders heads because there were so many complaints. Two days latter there was another sound upgrade. After that, suddenly, there was a new page in the sound setup. On that page, there was an off/on button and the default was off. They forgot to enable the gui page the button was on. I clicked on the button and it's worked ever since. Jim
