Public bug reported: After using xrandr to change the window layout from a two monitor display to a one monitor display and back to a two monitor display, the tooltip windows (alternative text) and suggestion list windows in firefox will appear in the alternate window space than where the firefox window is.
To reproduce (see attached xorg.conf): A laptop with an external screen. Plug the screen to the laptop, then: xrandr --output VGA --auto --left-of LVDS Then unplug, then: xrandr --output VGA --off then back to two screens: xrandr --output VGA --auto --left-of LVDS Place the open firefox window on the right-hand side screen space (laptop monitor). When typing the URL, the suggestion list will appear in the left-hand side screen space (external monitor), as well as the tooltip windows when mouse over a link or image. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- shifted windows after xrandr commands https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284312 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
