Public bug reported: Install inkscape and all the related openclipard packages (including create-ressources)
1) Start a new document with inkscape 2) Choose file > Import from the OpenClipart library 3) Type "bwm" and insert the first clipart into your document (the picture of a blue car) 4) Save your document and close inkscape 5) Clean your /tmp folder by "rm /tmp/*.png" and "rm /tmp/*.svg" (it can also be done by a simple reboot) 6) Open your document with inkscape : the picture is replaced by a red cross "Linked image not found". This is a pretty serious bug as it makes the use of openclipart completely unusable in Inkscape. I saw a collegua working one full day on a document and, the day after, its work was completely destroyed = loosing data ! ** Affects: inkscape Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: inkscape (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: inkscape Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Inkscape should not link clipart in /tmp, it should include them https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284302 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
