When I did a fresh install with the beta i386 the default resolution was
limited because it was set to mirrored. In the past this caused several
problem. I have noticed more recently that new intel drivers were included
in an update a few days ago. Since then I have experience absolutely no
problems with the resolution or panel bars. I do not know if this is true
with a fresh install or not however. When I create a new user the default
resoultion is still wrong however and by unchecking mirrored the resolution
goes back to 1280x800 (what it should be) the panel bars are in the wrong
positions however and the pc needs a restart, and then you have to move the
bars into the correct position.

The major problems are gone however, (thouse being, part of the screen
unusable/blacked out, un movable incorrect panel positioning. Thank you for
your hardwork. I belive the worst is now behind us.
