Well... after a few hours, almost all my media keys restarted to work...
Only one is still not working... the stop/eject key...
which was keycode 164 (mapped to key <I24> in xkb/keycodes/xfree86)
and seems to be now keycode 232 (mapped to key <I68> in same file)...
I don't know if it's a Xubuntu/xmodmap/whatever kernel issue but it's
really random and boring !
But even with rebind of the key in xkb... nothing change.... I can use
the settings manager to create the keyboards shortcuts but nothing work
with this only key...
nothing seems weird in my xmodmap
but in xev, pressing the stop key display :
KeyPress event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2c00001,
root 0x5a, subw 0x2c00002, time 70969032, (29,44), root:(580,351),
state 0x0, keycode 232 (keysym 0x1008ff15, XF86AudioStop), same_screen YES,
XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 164
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
which metion 164 and 232 keycodes... but nothing about XKeysymToKeycode
that I can parametrize...
