Problem Description:
After then boot process and the successfull login into my latest
Intrepid "beta" release, an error message appear on the upper gnome-
panel, I clicked on it and a error window opened Titled: <<problem in
usplash>> and telling: << The crash happened in the firmware of the
computer ("BIOS"), which cannot be influenced by the operating system.>>
These problems happened just after the first large system upgrade on my
latest Intrepid "beta" version of ubuntu, requested by Canonical
immediately after the CD-ROM installation (around 350 packages between
upgrades and new releases), just after the successfull download and
installation of all these packages
