Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usb-creator
Ubuntu Version: 8.10 Package Version: 0.1.9 There are currently several HIG violations in usb-creators (at least simply checking the glade file and quickly scrubbing the code). * warning/info/error alerts don't respect spaging, alignent, button labels, text labels, title and other stuff * main dialog don't respect alignmet, spacing, suggested layout for frames and separators, accelerators You can check both here[1] and here[2] Here is attached a quick edit of existing glade file with suggested changes. Unfortunately some widget names was breaked by my glade-3 so you can use it in code :-( I'll try to manually rename them in the next days. PS however could be a good idea switch from glade to GtkBuilder, but I ignore current pygtk support to it [1] http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/windows-alert.html [2] http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/design-window.html ** Affects: usb-creator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Better GNOME HIG compliance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285406 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
