I have the same problem. Adept manager hangs for several minutes as soon
as you type "lib" into the search field. Adept installer hangs for about
half a minute if you search for "lib". Both eventually recover, but it's
quite frustrating to have to wait so long. I'm using adept
3.0~beta4ubuntu3 on an amd64 machine.
