edubuntu 6.10 dvd in compac presario
The default boot option is taken. It begins to boot but the screen goes
into text mode and displays the following line many times:
unknown interrupt or fault at EIP 00000060 c01002b1 000002b6
Eventually the machine restarts again and boots from the beginning. I
tried several options of booting like noapic, etc. but nonetheless the
same happened again.
A similar problem happens with edgy kubuntu cd for 64bit architecture on
dell inspiron.
md5sums of burned disks have been checked to be correct (with k3b).
