Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pm-utils

on my dell latitude d820, suspend to ram and disk work perfectly when i
use the nvidia x driver, but not when using the free nv driver. In the
latter case, suspend goes fine, but on wakeup the screen is blank (not
even backlit) and the keyboard is functioning. In intrepid, for the
first time, network works on resume, so I can verify using ssh that the
machine has resumed, but X is spinning wildly (chewing up 90+% of cpu)
and i need to reboot to get a working system -- /etc/init.d/gpm restart,
for instance, does not help.

I'd really like to get this fixed as the nvidia driver runs EXTREMELY
hot on this machine.

please let me know if i can do anything to troubleshoot this, and/or direct me
to documentation sources that will help me with troubleshooting. maybe this
bug should belong toxserver-xorg-video-nv -- i don't know -- any suggestions?
thanks,
matt
