Public bug reported:

Strange problem with the kernel 2.6.27-7 in ibex. Wireless interface not
recognized anymore (with Hardy not problems). lspci shows it as wireless
interface Pro/wireless 2915ABG. Actually if I try a ifconfig eth1: up i
have an:

"error while geting interface flag: No such device."

Trying starting manually the module (should be modprobe ipw2200) shows
no error but don't solve the problem.

I don't know it depends by the fact that actually the backports modules
package show a dependence error or broken package error and thus is not
installable.

However I report it because till today I had no problem in using the wireless
with the notebook.
Notebook spec: Panasonic letsnote cf-y4
