nm-applet isn't present in KDE. For me, it's a 3945ABG with WPA2 and enterprise security, i. e. TLS with certificates.Hardware and basic stuff seems ok, if I use wpa_supplicant directly, I can connect just fine.
Whenever I configure this network through KNetworkManager, the certificate information is apparently not saved. It doesn't end up in .kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc, and it isn't shown when I re-edit the connection. This may be a general problem with saving certificates in KDE4, Konqueror for instance doesn't remember root certificates I installed either. -- [Intrepid] iwl3945 + iwl4965 -- network-manager will not connect to a WPA EAP (Enterprise) network (disassociating by local choice (reason=3) ) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272185 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
