Public bug reported:

I am using ubuntu 8.10 beta with GNOME 2.24 which has Nautilus file
manager has tab support.

Step 1 To see the problem you must have folder fulll of files and folders and
some hidden files as well.So nautilus doesn’t show scrollbar and even if it
shows hidden files appears th scrolbar.
Step 2  disable show hidden files
Step 3  go to same directory with 2 different tabs
Step 4  Enable show hidden files
result  in the tab you are seeing the scrollbar to let you see all the files,
but in the other tab the scrollbar doesn't appear when it should.(Defect)
