My notebook headphone jack is no sound on Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS. And I
installed latest Alsa driver 1.0.17 in my Ubuntu. When I before install
alsa driver I change the alsa-kernel/pci/hda/patch_via.c this file
(detail from:http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=556217). After I
installed the alsa driver. The headphone jack is still no sound.
Kernel: 2.6.24-21
OS: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Alsa driver: 1.0.17
