Public bug reported:

Sometimes when I print simple text from gedit, it results in a
completely blank page.

This is the same for a different printers (tried now with Xerox
WorkCentre M118 CUPS+Gutenprint 5.0.2 Simplified, Xerox Phaser 6200DP
Foomatic/Postscript, HP Color LaserJet 3800 Postscript).

If I print to PDF via cups-pdf it looks OK.

I'm not sure which package is to blame but I include version info for
cups and gedit.
