OK, maybe we are beeing affected by the same bug. With splash screen on
or off (both show me the loading progress) boot stops on ntp-server and
shows "mountntfs[eth0]: waiting for interface wlan0 before doing nfs
mountpoints".

It's an Asus A8N-SLI and everything works OK with linux-
image-2.6.26-1-rt (I don't work with MIDI files, by the way) and I don't
have any wireless interface (at least my bluetooth usb dongle can't be
considered as wi-fi). And no nfs mountpoints in /etc/fstab

Keyboard doesn't stop working, but if you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del computer
doesn't reboot, only show it's going to reboot (killing process blah-
blah-blah...). Needed do Alt+SysRq+S Alt+SysRq+U Alt+SysRq+B to get the
control back.

Either /var/log/messages or /var/log/kern.log don't show anything about
this.
