After a recent update of the ubuntu-kernel 2.6.24-21 and its modules and
backported modules, the drivers for my Intel HDA Chip (ICH8) are
missing. (It's probably important to mention, that before this update,
even with the 2.6.24-21 kernel the sound worked just fine).
