Binary package hint: smartdimmer
Smartdimmer does not change backlight on Sony Vaio notebooks with nVidia
8 series adapters.
The registers that need to be changed have been found and tested with
nvclock (bug #95444).
Please add support for backlight control on nVidia 8 series adapters in
Sony Vaio notebooks, so that the backlight scripts that call smartdimmer
and gnome-smartdimmer can work properly.
