Rebuilt Flash using latest usb-creator and daily-live. Persistence seems to be working fine. Changed desktop background sticks as does network connection and install of AbiWord. Flash drive does not constantly blink as with persistent install of liveusb. Install stopped working after trying to start synaptic. Had a warning about root permissions. Will try again and report back.
