Correction - this should be fixed in grub now that grub writes uuids by
default instead of device names.
To permanently correct the root setting for your system post-install,
you will want to edit the "groot" comment line in menu.lst, e.g.:
# groot=(hd0,0)

Sourcepackagename: grub-installer => grub
