Dnsmasq has had versions which have been known to refuse leases to certain clients based on their dhclient (if it's an older dnsmasq version, not sure on exact version number).
Check dnsmasq's bugs. If anything, this might be a dhclient bug. I'm well aware of what dnsmasq is, though. Many home routers (linksys wrt54g's, etc.) use dnsmasq, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure the "linux" package is an appropriate assigning. ------Original Message------ From: Mathias Gug Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReplyTo: Bug 219662 Sent: Oct 22, 2008 08:55 Subject: [Bug 219662] Re: Hardy - No network connectivity on fresh install Reassigning to the linux package. This has nothing to do with dnsmasq which is a dhcp and dns *server*. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: dnsmasq => linux -- Hardy - No network connectivity on fresh install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219662 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug.
