Confirmed here. This is not specific to wireless.
(Weird) workaround: check the "system settings" checkbox, THEN uncheck
the "Automatic connection" checkbox, check "Automatic connection"
again... click Validate : n-m should trigger the sudo authentication
dialog box and let you save the settings.
