I now tried with Archlinux to see if it is the same there. First it was
but then I found a fix from a Suse board:

http://www.linux-club.de/viewtopic.php?f=18&p=594484 (German)

It worked. But in Ubuntu I can't find a file /etc/modprobe.d/sound,
where I have to add an option model=laptop. So is there a way to make it
work in Ubuntu? Where is this file or is there one being similar to it?
Please help...
