Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
The Unlock button is grayed out in various system tools such as Users
Settings and Time and Date.
I can sudo and use other utilities like the Update Manager without any
problems. I can see that my account has the "Administer the system"
privilege checked in the Users Settings -> Properties window.
