Public security bug reported:
I just tried to upgrade from ubuntu 8.04 to ubuntu intrepid beta (in a
non-production environment) and after reboot, about after 10-15 seconds, ubuntu
crashed.
My computer is a 2.4GZ P-IV, 1.5GB RAM and always runned good with other ubuntu
versions.
If i see under the shell, before the crash, it appears a lot of lines, none of
them seems an error, maybe it's an assembler error code.
Anyway, after the boot, my wireless keyboard's receiver began to switch from
green to black a lot of times. Since then no input could be given.
I already tried to upgrade to te latest packages (throught ubuntu 6.04, in
chroot environment) but it seems that the bug hasn't been solved yet.
