I'm confirming this bug, as this affects a lot of Ubuntu users. ubuntu-updates
repositories should have compatible "language-pack-gnome-{your language}"
packages when firefox-3.0 updates are released in ubuntu-security repositories.
Forcing users to add the hardy-proposed repository and manually executing a
language-pack-gnome-* upgrade is a nonsense.

I think this problem would be easier to solve if firefox-3.0
translations would be packaged separately, like firefox 2.x translations
- why users should be forced to install big GNOME language pack package
after each firefox update?

** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
