I already tried that, and found that the missing library is *not* part of the -common package. (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?searchon=contents&keywords=libbonoboui-2.so.0&mode=filename&suite=intrepid&arch=any ) I can also confirm that it worked in Hardy without the GNOME dependencies, although the libbonoboui package in hardy also has them... So this problem seems to be more complex than I previously thought.
