This bug was fixed in the package f-spot - 0.5.0.3-0ubuntu2

f-spot (0.5.0.3-0ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low
* Add gvfs-bin dependency, so that the gvfs umounting in
f-spot-import-gphoto.dpatch can actually work. Otherwise F-Spot fails with
"Cannot lock device" on import. (LP: #258083)
