Hmm, it was long time ago, I do not remember how did I manage that thing to work. Now I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and everything is OK. I was setting it up half year ago and really, I do not know/remember if this is still an issue. In few days I am going to flush my root partition and do a fresh install of brand new 8.10.
