I am still experiencing this bug and am unable to reliably reproduce it. For the first time today it happened while I was at my computer. I opened a guest session. Then I logged out of the guest session. I entered my password to get back into my user's session. Desktop background came up and my mouse could move around on screen nothing else is visible.
