I've found this info at Kubuntu 8.10 RC release info: "Bluetooth is currently broken for Kubuntu Intrepid due to a last minute upgrade of the bluez stack. We hope to have a fix for this but only as an update after release, 2008. https://launchpad.net/bugs/280997";
