Public bug reported:
While trying to upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10beta process hangs on shutting
down bluetooth devices, which is funny as this box has no bluetooth
devices so the process is not running anyway. When you reboot system
hangs and you must insert boot disk. At this point if you choose to have
recovery attempt to rebuild broken packages the install of 8.10beta
continues but system acts flaky and video playback is choppy. Update
shows incomplete install of irc3 but will not let me re-install or
uninstall the bad files.
