Hi Bryce

thank YOU for making ubuntu better and more stable! i really appreciate
that!

the bug i files is probably a hw bug of my nvidia card. since some weeks
i use windows because i need ableton live to make music... and i have
the same issue with windows. but in windows it is less severe than under
linux. with linux these artifacts are almost omnipresent after half an
hour of use. with windows these artifacts appear a lot later and less
severe.

when i filed the bug i was a cs student and used linux a lot. since some
month i work as a programmer and privately use windows to make music. so
i can not give you any more info right now.

if you want i can provide you more info when i install ubuntu again. i
would suggest to close my defect and i will reopen it if i still have
the same issue when using ubuntu again.

is that ok for you?

thanks a lot again!!!!

you ubuntu guys rock!

cheers

ds
