I have since upgraded this machine to Hardy, so I'm not certain if the
bug would remain still, though I can test if you would like.  My
workaround was just to remove the server kernel completely and not worry
about it, since it was a desktop install, and I was never sure why the
server kernel was being pulled in anyway.

Please let me know if I should try installing the hardy server kernel on
that machine to see if this is still an issue.
