I have since upgraded this machine to Hardy, so I'm not certain if the bug would remain still, though I can test if you would like. My workaround was just to remove the server kernel completely and not worry about it, since it was a desktop install, and I was never sure why the server kernel was being pulled in anyway.
Please let me know if I should try installing the hardy server kernel on that machine to see if this is still an issue. -- linux-image-2.6.22-14-server fails to install on feisty -> gutsy upgrade, depmod fails to run https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
