Binary package hint: synaptic
There is a grey text at the bottom of a package description about
Canonical/Community providing updates for this package. As you can see
in the attached screenshot this text also appears for packages from a
3rd party repository. This looks like a legal issue to me and should in
my opinion be (if confirmed) release critical.
