Can someone change the release notes header to read "Severe Connectivity Problems caused by Enabled TCP Timestamps behind older routers"..... the heading "TCP Timestamps" says nothing that will catch the eye of someone reading the release notes before an upgrade.
Please also put "Verizon" in bold. This is a really big, problem. A dangerous one for linux in terms of impressions. When 20% of ubuntu users on the east coast of the U.S. are going to drop off the net on upgrade, you want to warn them first. We also need to pressure Verizon (Westtel) and Netgear to get their shit together.
