I'm having the exact some problem. I run [EMAIL PROTECTED] constantly and the only way the computer stays below 70C is by downclocking itself to 800mhz. I dual boot this machine with Windows and under the same conditions (running [EMAIL PROTECTED]) the computer spends the vaste majority of its time at the full clock speed.
Computer is Dell D630 with 2ghz Core2duo. Running 8.10 release candidate. Attached are the output of dmesg and lspci -vvnn as requested above.
