Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-media
Sound Recorder does not work.
I did a fresh install of Intrepid RC1. I am unable to capture any sound
with the Sound Recorder.
When I start the application, i can only choose "capture" as input
source. In Hardy I could select the microphone.
If I select "capture" as input source and press record, something
strange happens. It the Length goes about one minute every second,
instead of one second every second. When I press stop, the application
hangs up and I need kill it.
I have no other sound problem, this did not happen in Hardy, My
microphone is working in other applications.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Z61p
Please tell men if additional information is needed, and i will be happy
to provide it.
