I installed Kate via Add/Remove applications, but it doesn't start. If I start
it from the terminal, it gives
trying to create local folder /home/james/.kde/share: Permission denied
If I
sudo chown -R myusername /home/myusername/.kde
the problem is solved. I didn't experience this problem in Hardy.
