I am testing Kubuntu 8.10 RC on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 and it responds
slow. Alot of apps when you click on them start to load then any sign
of it seems to disappear then after awhile the app pops up. I also see
that some of the repos are failing when I try to fetch the lists. Also
the wireless signal stays at 2 bars in my house. In windows the signal
is great. I changed the CPU to performance in case that was why it was
slow. This having a Duo Core 2 with 2GB memory I expected better
performance. Only thing I can think of is that the video drivers are
not great. (using what was installed at install
