Test case
1. Start Ubuntu Hardy from LiveCD
2. Test sound --> it works
3. Run alsa-info.sh to collect sound related information
4. Start Ubuntu Intrepid RC from LiveCD
5. Test sound --> it doesnt work
6. Run alsa-info.sh to collect sound related information
I attach both alsa-info files from Intrepid and Hardy. The important in
Intrepid is:

!!Soundcards recognised by ALSA
!!-----------------------------
--- no soundcards ---
although the snd_hda_intel module seem to be loaded in the section "All Loaded
Modules"
