In control panels, clicking Administer button and entering password into
ksudo-auth-dialogue shifts GUI into Administrator mode showing red-border on
window-pane, but does not grant administrator privileges, so functions remain
greyed-out and it's impossible to administer the system. This on i386 Kubuntu
8.04 beta desktop.
