Thanks for reporting this bug. Are you able to induce this crash
reliably or is it random? If you can reproduce it please install the
package kdepim-dbg and induce the crash. This will help us get a more
useful backtrace. The current one contains no information.
When akregator was hanging how did you force it's exit?
