Ubuntu 8.10 rc updated to 27.10.2008.
Package - I'm using networkmanager-gnome applet
0.7~~svn20081020t000444-0ubuntu1 .
Using the network manager, when I edit the "Network Conections" screen,
and select "Wireless Security" tab.
I uncheck "Connect automatically" .
The parameters are - Security Dynamic WEP (802.1x)
Authentication Protected EAP (PEAP)
PEAP Version Version 0
Innerr Authentication MSCHAPv2
User Name <xxxxx>
Password <....>
The problem is that when I log out, or restart the Laptop, the user name and
password are kept, and an automatic connection to the wireless network is
established when logging in.
I expect the user name and password - not to be shown, and even encrypt the
password (not clear text).
Other people use the same Laptop.
I would like to re-enter the user name and password .
Thanks,
Ofir S.
